DARK CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING



INGREDIENTS

  • 12 tablespoons butter
  • 4.5 oz unsweetened chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 lb confectioner’s sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a microwave- safe bowl, microwave chocolates and butter together in 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla.
  2. Add the powdered sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer. Slowly pour the chocolate mixture in with the mixer running.
  3. Add the milk in intervals, only adding as much as needed to obtain a smooth and spreadable frosting.
